About Imerovigli

Imerovigli occupies the highest point of the caldera rim between Fira and Oia, earning its nickname 'the balcony of the Aegean.' Below it juts Skaros Rock, the ruins of Santorini's oldest medieval castle and once the island's capital, reached by a short cliff-path hike that ends at the chapel of Panagia Theoskepasti. The village is almost entirely given over to luxury cave villas and boutique suites with infinity pools, and it is intentionally quiet, no clubs, just high-end caldera-view dining. Property commands Oia-level prices, and rental performance is among the island's strongest, though buyers must now reckon with the Golden-Visa short-term-let ban and a season concentrated in just five months.
