About Paleokastritsa

Paleokastritsa is a string of six coves beneath wooded cliffs, crowned by the Theotokos Monastery (founded 1228) with sweeping views, and within reach of the Byzantine Angelokastro fortress and the Bella Vista lookout. Boat trips run to sea caves and hidden beaches. It is a scenery-first market: villas and cliffside homes command sea-view premiums (up to €6,500/m² near the water), drawing couples, nature lovers and holiday-let buyers. Access is winding and the season summer-weighted, so this is a lifestyle/capital play more than a high-liquidity one.
