For investors, Tabanan's headline is value: land here typically runs 30-50% below the Canggu corridor, with villas starting well under $150,000, making it the budget-conscious entry point for buyers betting on Bali's westward expansion. As infrastructure improves and the Canggu spillover pushes north and west, emerging Tabanan pockets are forecast among the faster-appreciating areas, albeit from a low base and with thinner transaction liquidity. The trade-off is fewer amenities and lower immediate rental footfall, so Tabanan rewards patient, long-horizon buyers and lifestyle owners over short-term yield chasers.
